How to Relieve Heartburn

Not all heat refers to an illness that requires treatment with medication. There are several things you can do at home to relieve symptoms of heartburn, including:

1. Get enough rest and avoid exposure to smoke

Make sure you get enough rest to help strengthen your immune system against germs. Also avoid exposure to smoke, such as cigarette smoke and vehicle smoke, which can aggravate discomfort in the throat. If forced to be in a place with a lot of smoke, wear a mask to protect your respiratory tract.

Some herbal medicines are known to be beneficial for relieving the throat and are commonly packaged in the form of sweets or herbs. However, medical research is still very limited to explain the work of herbal medicines. Therefore, you should consult with your doctor before using herbal / alternative medicine.

6. Implement a healthy lifestyle

If the symptoms of heartburn that are felt lead to an increase in stomach acid, you should avoid eating large amounts before bed. Adjust your mealtime so that mealtime is not close to bedtime. If you have excess weight, try to reduce weight, because this is one factor that increases the risk of acid reflux. Avoiding stress, smoking, and alcoholic beverages can also prevent the emergence of heat due to gastric acid reflux. You can apply the above methods to relieve heartburn complaints.
